Keziah Stevens

“Go for it - there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain!”

“Go for it - there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain!”

For Keziah Stevens, applying to the IG50 was about securing a stronger foundation for her future career — a way to kickstart her journey into the games industry in her specialised role. She wanted stability, visibility, and a clearer path forward. Winning the IG50 delivered exactly that. “The connections, community, knowledge and experience gained being part of the IG50 cohort” stand out as the highlight for her, along with the support she received to attend events, network, and access new opportunities. Through the Boost 2025 programme, Keziah secured a paid placement with Tapestry Electric, joining the animation team. Her impact was felt immediately. Founder and Artistic Director Kate Duhamel shared that Keziah’s in‑game animations were useful, and that she brought a refreshing perspective to the team. Her work contributed to a core feature of the game that “feel alive, creative and cool,” enhancing the player experience. Over the past year, Keziah has felt a real shift in her confidence. She’s more assured in her ability to land work in a challenging industry climate, and more comfortable reaching out to others for guidance and mentorship. And what’s even better, Keziah is now working part-time as a 3D artist at Fail Forward Games, working on their upcoming RPG Sea Beyond. Keziah’s advice to future applicants is simple: “Go for it - there’s nothing to lose and everything to gain!”
